19世纪末，新艺术风格独领风骚。 路易‧卡地亚（Louis Cartier）却另辟蹊径，以极为简约的风格重新演绎18世纪法国新古典主义。卡地亚率先采用铂金，使得宝石镶嵌更加灵活而隐蔽，由此缔造了真正的珠宝花边，让每颗钻石焕发动人光彩。耀眼珠宝吸引了世界众多皇室的目光。这一创举被后世称为“花环风格”，成为卡地亚蜚声国际的起点。

铂金，古典切割圆钻和玫瑰式切割钻石，一颗梨形切割蓝宝石，七颗枕形切割蓝宝石。
蓝宝石总重：约51克拉。
这款胸针是卡地亚花环风格的典范之作。 对于如此大型的一款首饰而言，能够在近一百年的时间内依旧保存完好，不得不说是一个奇迹。 因为对于大多数冠冕和胸饰来说，一旦款式不再时尚， 就难逃改款和重镶的命运。
