Product Description

Santos de Cartier watch, large model, mechanical movement with automatic winding 1847 MC. Rhodium-finish white gold 750/1000 case set with 126 baguette-cut diamonds totalling 5.90 carats, rhodium-finish 18K white gold (750/1000) crown set with a brilliant-cut diamond. Silvered sunray-effect dial, silvered Roman numeral hour-markers, white Super LumiNova® on the rail track and steel sword-shaped hands, sapphire crystal. Straps in grey alligator leather and navy blue alligator leather, rhodium-finish white gold 750/1000 ardillon buckle set with 28 baguette-cut diamonds totalling 1.10 carats. Case dimensions: 47.5 x 40 mm, thickness: 9.1 mm. Water-resistant up to 3 bar (approx. 30 metres).

About the Collection

1904. Louis Cartier granted the wish of the famous Brazilian aviator Alberto Santos Dumont: to be able to tell the time while flying. The birth of one of the first ever wristwatches sealed the bonds of friendship between these two pioneers. The rounded angles of the dial, seamless curve of the horns, and the exposed screws made for an iconic watch that would inspire countless reinterpretations.

Delivery/Return

You may return or exchange your Cartier creation within 30 days in a new and unused state, in perfect condition, with all protective materials in place and tags and stickers attached to them. Cartier will not accept any return if the creation shows signs of wear, has been used, or has been altered from its original condition in any way.
